All my years living in California I've never had the chance to experience the High Deserts of this beautiful state. My journeys have always taken me to beautiful beaches and ocean views to High Sierras where rivers and water flow among the towering trees.

Spending some time in Joshua Tree in early November of 2023 I found myself utterly surprised on the sheer fastness and beauty of my surroundings. One glance and you just see a few shrubs and odd rock outcrops, but closer inspection while hiking you see so much life growing where it can.....I actually got to see a Road Runner in real life (its the little things) .... needless to say ...... i was so inspired ...... and this is my love letter of sorts.

The approach to this project was a mix of synths and odd drums, but with a little stripped done vibe that airs out through the project. Like adding space to help you clear your mind and enjoy life's simple pleasures.
